
Danny Noppert has made the decision to head to Q-school in an attempt to join the PDC circuit. In a tweet “Noppie” simply wrote “Play Q-school next week in Germany #PDC.” The 27 year-old Dutchman has made the decision in light of his second round exit at the BDO World Darts Championships where he was defeated 4-1 by Mark McGeeney.
Noppert competed in this years tournament amid personal tragedy. He lost his mother on New Year’s Day, 6 days before competing in his first match in the championships against American qualifier Joe Chaney.
PDC Qualifying School for European players take place in Hildesheim next week with a mirrored version taking place for the rest of the World in Wigan at the same time to win PDC Tour cards.
