In recent weeks the BDO has had set back after set back. In qualifying school they lost some big name players, with of most note former World number 3 Jeffrey de Graff. Then came the announcement that the BDO Players Championship couldn’t find a TV broadcast partner, that forced the tournaments cancellation. Then this week the BBC decided to cease broadcasting of the Lakeside to broadcast the new Champions League of Darts.
